DON’T GIVE UP YOUR DREAM TO BE REALISTIC BY FOLLOWING THE NORM. BUILD YOUR LEGACY, BREAK THE NORM, BECOME UNREALISTIC.
A person went to a coach and told him that he cannot afford him but need his coaching to become successful and he can pay him later.
The coach told him that he cannot offer him free coaching because of two reason. One that free things are often undervalued. Two that if someone can’t afford his fees, they likely can’t afford the necessary resources to implement his advice.
The person responded, ‘Does this mean I’m stuck in my current situation because I can’t afford your coaching? Will I never learn the strategies to achieve my desired freedom? So, I guess it’s true what they say: I should be realistic and give up on my dreams’.
The coach responded, ‘Don’t give up. Since you had the courage to reach out, let me offer this advice. When people tell you to be realistic, they mean well, but they’re not practical. If you have to work hard, work hard towards your dream.
Get a job, develop your skills, and use them to earn more. You can also work overtime to earn extra money. But be careful: it’s easy to spend extra money and hard to save it. Save enough for emergencies and to cover your living expenses for 4-5 months. Then, start investing.
By this time, you’ll have experience with money and work. If you can afford it, consider coaching from me or someone else. You’ll be better prepared because of your experience.
Remember, it’s the choices you make that might seem unrealistic, but they can help your goals grow.
And never forget why I said no to free coaching: free services are worthless, and you’ll struggle financially. It’s not just my fees; you’ll also need to invest in resources to implement my strategies. Otherwise, they’ll be empty words with no benefit.’
What would you do if you are the person seeking a Coach, GURU, Mentor or God?
Let me share these three basic rules, these are not regular norms but basic fundamentals before you can make your own rules:
Rule 1: You need to have a strong desire to have a dream life. Remember you need the power of Dream + Desire to win your position.
Rule 2: You need to grind as start. You get advice to to work smart not hard. Its a good but useless advice. You cannot become smart without experience. When you start a work there are many things you don’t know. You make mistake, you take more time, and you learn things. This gives you experience and you become master. That makes you smart. Once you become smart you have the leverage.
Rule 3: You have to get everything you can out of all you got. You don’t have money or skill. You got yourself, you are hungry, and you have a desire. Find work to earn your first dollar. Remember there will be always things or jobs that other people cannot do(or want to do) but will pay you if you did that for them. It may not be a standard well paying job but its a start. If you play it right your low standard job can become an exclusive high paying job (I will write about it in a separate article).
Remember the Coach’s advice:
- People usually don’t value anything available for FREE. Then there is lots of noise with free advices. But in today’s internet world few people sincerely share very good free advices. If an advice or strategy is good, You must treat it as most precious and give due respect. Like the air you breathe is free but important for your life.
- Wait for your turn. Sometimes you are not ready to receive what you want. Don’t give up. Prepare your self to receive what you desire. You cannot expect to win a race unless you practice running daily. Practice take time and when you are ready you will win your race. Also to win a big race you need to start winning small races.
- Start earning. Start Saving. Start Investing. Do these things by focusing on your dreams.
- Gain every experience. Learn everything about your work (even if you don’t like the work but this is what you have now). Figure out how to do that smartly, and how to eliminate the pain of doing that work. Become expert. That will give you leverage to charge more money.
- Once you develop sufficient skills and money. Start building your legacy. Take help from coach, mentors, people who will help you grow. Now you start using your money and skills to achieve your dreams.
